A privately owned and managed hotel built in the 1890s, Comfort Inn Reading is centrally located by the Oracle Shopping Centre and Reading business parks, with Thames Valley and Green Park close by.
Many rooms have been recently refurbished and offer modern facilities. The restaurant and lounge bar offer a friendly atmosphere and quality food and service. Air conditioning is available on request.
Comfort Inn Reading will be open at Christmas on a room only basis. The restaurant and bar will be closed.
The hotel is non-smoking. Smoking areas are allocated outside.

This package is for a stay in a recently refurbished superior room, including a full English breakfast. In addition to the facilities already listed (see below), you will find a toothbrush and toothpaste, a superior hot beverage pack, a complimentary newspaper, a basket of fruit on arrival and bottled water.
All budget singles have en suite bathrooms and have been recently decorated and carpeted. The only difference from the standard single is the size of the room. Price includes a dinner allowance of GBP 15 and a full English breakfast.
The ground floor Victorian-style restaurant has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with comfortable surroundings.
By Car:
- Exit the M4 at junction 11.
- At the roundabout, follow signs for the B3270 to Shinfield and the Royal Berkshire A&E Department. This road runs parallel to the motorway, passing Foster Wheeler on your left.
- At the next roundabout, turn left onto the Shinfield Road heading for Reading and passing the European Weather Centre.
- Keep driving straight over 2 mini roundabouts, following signs for Reading University.
- Drive past the university on your right. The hotel is 500 metres on the right, opposite the church.
